Barracudas complete successful dance team tryout

Belton, Tx: An open audition was held at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton on Saturday, and the Barracudas were pleased to see the likes of several Veteran Babes as well as several Rookie Babes auditioning for the 2008 Dance Team. The competition to be the next Barracudas Babe was outstanding, and very impressive making it very hard to choose the girls that would represent the team during the 2008 season. With the help of GymKix, Extreme Cheer & Tumble, Juanita Stace of Bell County Farm Bureau and a panel of judges the Barracudas narrowed the team to just twelve Barracuda Babes. "The talent we saw on Saturday was the best that this team has ever seen, which did not make it easy on the judges or any of the dancers competing. I know the fans will be pleased with the 2008 Barracuda Babes Dance Team that will step foot on the turf in March!", stated team Owner Krystyn Barnett. Congratulations goes out to each of the Newest Babes from the Barracudas Organization. The roster for the Babes will be:
Vicki Ramirez, Magen White, Courtney Robinson, Jennifer Cardenas, Jasmine McCrary, Artesia Williams, Melinda Bailey, Christi Sides, Brittany Scheffler, Shelly Kay Gardner, Taryn Ellis, and Lori Acosta.
Press Announcement Tomorrow: The Barracudas will be hosting a press conference tomorrow, November 7th at the La Quinta Hotel, 229 W Loop 121 next to the Bell County Expo Center in Belton. The announcement will be the first of several player signing's to come in the next couple of months, so all media are encouraged to come. Food will be served at 1:15 and the announcement will follow. Come join the Barracudas and see who will be the first players to enter the 2008 Barracudas roster. In addition, the Barracudas are in search for the "Next Local Hero" to join the team! Barracudas will host a local tryout on December 15th, at the Bell County Expo Center.
