Bandits Acquire O'Connor from Georgia

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has acquired transition player Ethan O'Connor from the Georgia Swarm in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2021 NLL Entry Draft and a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft.

O'Connor (6'1", 185 lbs., 3/5/1992) has played for the Swarm for the last four seasons, combining to record 34 points (9+25) and 325 loose ball recoveries in 68 games from 2015 to 2018. He also contributed four assists in six playoff games during that stretch and was a member of the Georgia club that captured the 2017 Champion's Cup.

A five-year NLL veteran, O'Connor played for the Toronto Rock during his rookie campaign in 2014 and recorded nine points (5+4) and a career-high 133 loose ball recoveries in 17 games. A native of Milton, Ontario, O'Connor was selected by Toronto in the first round (9th overall) of the 2013 NLL Entry Draft after playing collegiately for the Hobart Statesman from 2010 to 2013.
