
Baltimore Burn To Hold Girls Football Camp

Glen Burnie, MD -The Baltimore Burn will be holding their Inaugural Girls Football Camp on Saturday, August 16 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at The Bachman Sports Complex in Glen Burnie. The camp is open to all girls from ages 6 - 18 and, best of all, registration is FREE!
Camp participants will go through the same stretching, conditioning and football position drills that Burn players perform. They will also be taught basic offensive and defensive skills, positions and formations. The day will end with non-contact, age-appropriate scrimmages. Members of the 2003 Baltimore Burn will face off in the final, non-contact scrimmage to end the day. Lunch will also be provided for all campers. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The deadline for registration is Friday, August 1st. The Baltimore Burn is a women's full contact football team of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA). After an inaugural, no-win season in 2001, the Burn managed to become the 2002 Mid-Atlantic Division Champions with a 7-1 record and finished the 2003 season at 6-2.
