Glen Burnie, MD - The Baltimore Burn has selected Maryland SportsCare & Rehab as its "Official Sports Medicine Provider" for the 2003 season. Maryland SportsCare will provide trainers for all home and away games and offer off the field care for injured players.
"Maryland SportsCare & Rehab is excited about providing sports medicine coverage to the Baltimore Burn. Our commitment to a healthy athlete will surely compliment the Burn's commitment to winning" said Gary Katz, PT, ATC, President of Maryland SportsCare.
The Baltimore Burn is a women's full contact football team of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA). After an inaugural, no-win season in 2001, the Burn managed to become the 2002 Mid-Atlantic Division Champions with a 7-1 record.
