B-Sens Partner with Humane Society for Paws for Cause Adoptathon

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have partnered with the Broome County Humane Society to host the Paws for Cause Adoptathon.
The event will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Broome County Humane Society located at 2 Jackson Street in Binghamton.
Fans will have the opportunity to visit with both cats and dogs that are up for adoption at area shelters and meet some of their favorite Binghamton Senators players. Players scheduled to attend include Pat Cannone, Tim Conboy, Corey Cowick, Derek Grant, Josh Godfrey, Mike McKenna and Mark Parrish.
Paws for Cause calendars ($20) and t-shirts ($15) will be available for purchase at the event. 100% of the proceeds from the calendar and t-shirt sales benefit the Broome County Humane Society and Project P.A.W.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will also feature refreshments and the opportunity to enter to win a pair of tickets to a future regular season B-Sens home game.
The Broome County Humane Society is an independent, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and finding homes for companion animals. They serve the community by sheltering animals, finding them homes, investigating reports of animal cruelty, educating people of all ages and rescuing animals from threatening situations. Project P.A.W. is a non-profit organization committed to the humane treatment of animals, with a strong focus on stray and abandoned cats. They provide a no-kill shelter for cats, which is staffed by volunteers and funded completely through charitable donations.
