B-Mets Bolster Staff in Preparation for Video Era

With the home opener a little more than two months away, the Binghamton Mets have filled out their full-time employee roster with a pair of new faces-Video Production Director Eric Long & Events Coordinator Heith Tracy-Bronson.

The installation of a video scoreboard for the 2007 season necessitated the addition of an accomplished and talented expert in the field that the team discovered in Long. Prior to joining the B-Mets, this Pennsylvania State University graduate with a degree in film worked for the Reading Royals of the East Coast Hockey League and the Lancaster Barnstormers baseball club. Long, 23, and his girlfriend Courtney recently relocated to Binghamton's West Side.

To complete his academic requirements for a bachelor's degree in sports management from Ithaca College, Tracy-Bronson fulfilled an internship with the ballclub throughout 2006. A lifelong resident of Broome County, this 27-year-old Whitney Point High School alumnus and Binghamton resident will help in the team's focus on enhanced atmosphere of fun at the ballpark through sponsorships, group sales and promotions.
