Aztex Face Battery on Sunday

Austin Aztex News Release
AUSTIN, Texas - Following Friday's disappointing 2-0 loss to the Charleston Battery in front of the hometown fans and a national television audience watching on Fox Soccer Channel, the Aztex look to rebound in the rematch of the two teams on Sunday back at Nelson Field.
According to Austin head coach Adrian Heath, after watching what was easily his team's most lackluster home performance of the season, there is plenty room for improvement when the Aztex play host to the Battery on Sunday night.
"I thought we were poor from the start. Poor defending let in the early score and then on offense we never really managed to threaten Charleston. Like I said after the game, it was like men against boys out there. In order for us to have a chance on Sunday, we must make tremendous progress."
Heath said while he's not certain on his final roster, there will be changes. He said he hopes the lineup changes will spark the team, give the players some much-needed confidence and allow them to compete against Charleston on Sunday.
"I think we're capable of playing with Charleston. We've defeated Puerto Rico, one of the top teams in the league, and we've played tough against Carolina and a couple other big boys in our league. We'll see how mentally prepared the players show up on Sunday. If they're ready to give it a go or not."
Sunday's kickoff against the Charleston Battery is set for 6:00pm.
