Austin's Justin Dentmon Named NBA Development League Performer of the Week

NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2012 - Justin Dentmon of the Austin Toros was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Jan. 9-15.

Dentmon, a 6-0, 185-pound guard out of Washington, averaged 26.3 points, 7.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 39.5 minutes last week, shooting 53 percent from the floor. He tied a season-high with 31 points in a 114-107 road win over the Reno Bighorns on Jan. 15 as the Toros went 3-1 on the week.

For the season, Dentmon is averaging 23.9 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds.

Other top performers considered included Canton's Tyrell Biggs, who averaged 17.0 points and 8.7 rebounds; Idaho's Tony Bobbitt, who averaged 18.3 points and 2.3 rebounds; Los Angeles' Brandon Costner, who averaged 21.0 points and 5.3 rebounds; Iowa's Mike Efevberha, who averaged 19.3 points and 3.7 rebounds; Reno's Andre Emmett, who averaged 24.3 points and 5.3 rebounds; Sioux Falls' Trey Gilder, who averaged 19.0 points and 8.3 rebounds; Erie's Devin Green, who averaged 17.5 points and 4.3 rebounds; Tulsa's Marcus Lewis, who averaged 16.8 points and 12.3 rebounds; Bakersfield's Juan Pattillo, who averaged 18.0 points and 6.5 rebounds; Maine's Jerome Randle, who averaged 17.8 points and 3.8 assists; Fort Wayne's Walker Russell, who averaged 17.0 points and 11.3 assists; Rio Grande Valley's Ben Uzoh, who averaged 18.5 points and 8.0 rebounds; Springfield's L.D. Williams, who averaged 19.0 points and 6.3 rebounds and Texas' Booker Woodfox, who averaged 21.3 points and 2.8 rebounds.
