GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday re-signed forward Louis-Marc Aubry to a one-year contract.

A native of Arthabaska, Quebec, Aubry collected 16 points (5-11-16) and 52 penalty minutes in 67 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins during the 2014-15 season, matching AHL career highs in goals, assists and points, while setting a new career high with a plus-nine rating. The 6-foot-4, 213-pound forward also picked up three goals in 16 games during the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs, along with 16 PIM and a plus-two rating.

In four seasons with Grand Rapids since 2011-12, the 23-year-old has accumulated 48 points (16-32-48) and 167 PIM in 231 regular season games and four points (3-1-4) and 16 PIM in 30 career Calder Cup playoff games. Detroit's third choice (81st overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Aubry was a member of the Griffins' 2013 Calder Cup-winning squad.
