JACKSONVILLE - The award-winning Jacksonville Sharks Attack Dance Team has announced the 10th Anniversary 2019 Attack Dance Team Audition Schedule. The team will hold open auditions on Saturday, November 3rd at Dansations Dance Studio. Registration begins at 8:30 am and auditions are open to all candidates.

"We are so excited to begin the 10th Anniversary Season of the Attack Dance Team." Stated Attack Dance Team Director Laura Bouchy. As the premier professional dance team in northeast Florida, we cannot wait to see what talented women will be joining this elite team in our tenth season. Don't let any fears come before your dreams! We look forward to meeting each and every one of you at auditions."

From an elementary school teacher and a full-time mother, a First Lieutenant in the Navy and a pharmacy student, last year's team was comprised of a spirited group of individuals hailing from a number of exciting and eclectic backgrounds. Approximately 21 members will make up the 2019 Attack Dance Team, and the participant must be 18 years old by November 3rd, 2018 and have high school diploma or GED by May 31st, 2019 to audition.

On the day of the auditions, candidates will be taught a choreographed dance routine which also will be taught at their FREE prep class and will be given an opportunity to perform a freestyle combination. At the end of the preliminary rounds, judges will narrow the field to a group of 30-40 participants who be invited to the final round of auditions on Sunday, November 11th. In addition to performing at all Jacksonville Sharks home games in front of more than 10,000 fans, those selected to the team will have the opportunity to participate in various community involvement experiences, and are requested to attend a minimum of two rehearsals per week. Select members of the team will also be able to take part in the annual calendar and video shoot in January.
