Atlantic League unveils 10th anniversary logo

(Camden, N.J., Jan. 11, 2007) - Atlantic League officials have unveiled the logo for their 10th anniversary season of professional baseball. During the 10th anniversary season, which opens on May 4, all players and field staff will wear a patch on the sleeve of their uniform in celebration of the milestone.

"We are very proud to be celebrating our 10th season of baseball in the Atlantic League," says Atlantic League founder and CEO Frank Boulton. "We have been able to provide fans in previously underserved markets with affordable family entertainment. As we look to the future, we will continue to provide the excitement of hometown baseball to our fans."

Throughout the season, the league and its member clubs - the Bridgeport Bluefish, Camden Riversharks, Lancaster Barnstormers, Long Island Ducks, Newark Bears, Road Warriors, Somerset Patriots and York Revolution - will mark the celebration of the 10th anniversary season with commemorative T-Shirts and collectible items.

"I am very proud to be a part of the Atlantic League's 10th anniversary," says AL executive director Joe Klein. "We're looking forward to 2007 being our best season yet"

The Atlantic League's All-Star Game will be held in Lancaster, Pa. on July 11 and will celebrate the league's 10-year history. Over the league's nine seasons of baseball, over 1.5 million fans have enjoyed Atlantic League baseball annually, with the circuit celebrating its 10 millionth fan just this past season.

The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Clubs, in operation since 1998, brings a high level of professional baseball and affordable family entertainment. Since beginning play nine years ago, the contracts of more than 200 Atlantic League players have been purchased by Major League organizations.
