Atlanta Blaze News Release
Kennesaw-The Atlanta Blaze released their 23-man protected roster this afternoon. The Blaze will look to add onto this core list following the Supplemental Draft on December 14, 2016 as well as the Collegiate Draft which will take place in the spring of 2017.
Blaze General Manager Spencer Ford commented on his and Head Coach David Huntley's strategy going into the 2017 season stating, "Our goal will be to play a skilled high IQ offense with high percentage passing and shooting. On the defensive end, we will play fast off the ground in transition and very physical in settled situations, but at all times we will be together with great communication."
"We are happy with this group of players but still have work to do. We are still very active in the new MLL Player Movement and after both the Supplemental and College Drafts, we will be more than ready to compete come April," Ford commented.
