Atlanta Blaze Picks up Chris Bocklet in Player Movement

December 2, 2016 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Atlanta Blaze News Release

Kennesaw- The Atlanta Blaze picked up attackman Chris Bocklet today in player movement. Bocklet has spent the past five seasons with the Denver Outlaws putting up an average of 27.2 points per season since he started playing in the MLL in 2012.

Bocklet graduated from the University of Virginia after an impressive career with the Cavaliers, where he was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament Team and was only the 13th Cavalier to reach the 100-career goal plateau.

Atlanta Blaze General Manager Spencer Ford said of Bocklet, "Chris has been a tremendous scorer in the MLL since he came into the league a few years ago. His ability as a crafty inside finisher and [having] solid range as an outside shooter will help strengthen an offense that has the ability to score many goals."

"Winning becomes contagious, Chris has been a winner everywhere he has played, we don't expect this to be any different," Ford noted.
