Atlanta Blaze News Release

KENNESAW- The Atlanta Blaze is excited to announce their first ever Inferno Workshop powered by Pinnacle Orthopaedics .

Inferno Workshops will be partnering with North Cobb High School to bring three days of high quality lacrosse training, leadership guidance and medical instruction to the players, families and coaches of North Cobb. "I am thrilled to kick off our first workshop [in North Cobb]. The Inferno Workshop process has been a long time in the making, and I am appreciative for the support and vision of both Pinnacle Orthopaedics and North Cobb Head Coach John Almy for coming along on this ride with us." Remarked Mark Rowley, Director of Inferno Workshops.

Pinnacle Orthopaedics will be partnering with the Atlanta Blaze, and will be integral in bringing their expertise to the medical aspect of the Workshop. "As medical providers to the Atlanta Blaze, we are always looking for ways to give back to the community and get involved at the grassroots level. These Inferno Workshops allow us the perfect opportunity to speak directly to athletes, parents and coaches about injuries, and specifically the many ways in which injuries like overuse, ACL tear and concussions can be prevented." Said Heloise Jones, Head Athletic Trainer for the Blaze .

"Ultimately, we are trying to create a culture of young athletes that are injury free, and we are so excited to be able to use lacrosse as a mechanism for sharing this message." Jones added.

Atlanta Blaze Head Coach David Huntley and Blaze General Manager Spencer Ford have spent the past several weeks evaluating the North Cobb lacrosse program, and have created a unique curriculum to address the strengths and weaknesses specific to North Cobb. This catered instruction, coupled with leadership training with Atlanta Blaze captain Scott Ratliff and the medical expertise of Pinnacle Orthopaedics, will create an environment for North Cobb that will continue to pay off for seasons to come.
