
Atlanta Blaze Hires Jim Pfeifer as President

Kennesaw-The Atlanta Blaze is excited to welcome Jim Pfeifer as the President of the Atlanta Blaze, effective immediately.
Jim has extensive experience in professional sports having spent the past 27 years working for teams in the NBA and NHL. Most recently, Jim has been with the Atlanta Hawks as their Vice President of Partnership and Broadcasting, and prior to that was the VP of Marketing for the Hawks and the expansion team the Atlanta Thrashers. Before moving to Atlanta in 1998, Jim spent 9 years in the front offices of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.
"Having spent the last 18 years in Atlanta sports, I am very aware of the market and excited about the future of the Atlanta Blaze. Lacrosse is exploding, and the Atlanta Blaze will thrive as Major League Lacrosse continues to grow." said Pfeifer.
Blaze owner Peter Trematerra welcomed Jim to the front office staff stating, "Jim's knowledge, experience, and success bring a lot of excitement to our team both on and off the field. I am thrilled to have him a part of the Blaze team and look forward to bringing lacrosse at the highest quality to all of our loyal Atlanta Blaze fans."
