Astros-Mariners game suspended due to rain

Greeneville, TN - The Appalachian League contest between the Greeneville Astros and Pulaski Mariners was suspended in the bottom of the seventh inning on Thursday due to rain with the Mariners leading 5-0. The suspended game will resume in Pulaski on Tuesday, August 7 and will be followed by the regularly scheduled game.
Thursday's game was scoreless through six innings. Then, Pulaski put up five runs in the top half of the seventh. With the bases loaded, the Mariners scored one run when Franklin Diaz grounded into a force out, another on a RBI single from James Zamarripa and three more on a base-clearing double from Jabari Henry.
