November 12, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Question from Ken B, Manchester, NH: "Are you going to post stories about the various ABA games on the ABA website this season like you did last season?"
Answer: Ken. Thanks for the email and the question. I've received several similar questions. This year, we decided to post the scores of the games on the upper right hand side of the website (www.abalive.com) with the teams' website addresses rather than posting the stories themselves. This way, we are encouraging those people interested in specific games to go to the teams' websites for recaps of the games. We will be posting the standings and statistic leaders on the ABA website. We will continue to post stories about the things teams are doing in their communities, about player transactions, sponsors and other items of interest on the ABA website. The season has started off well with some very exciting games being played. And the excitement is being captured on the various teams' websites. Please check them out. If you have a question, email conniejoenewman@aol.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
