Norfolk, Virginia - No NFL this weekend? Come play some f�=BAtbol with the Norfolk SharX Sunday afternoon and earn $100 for your best kick!!! The Norfolk SharX are geared up and ready for their two-game weekend that starts in Baltimore on Friday night at 7:35 p.m. at 1st Mariner Arena and ends at Norfolk Scope Arena on Sunday against Rochester. The SharX have registered wins over both squads this season.
Friday's game marks the third matchup with Baltimore (11-4) in the past fifteen days beginning with the SharX 17-12 win on January 12 and a road loss on January 20. Miguel Ferrer led the SharX in
the win over the Blast scoring 5 points. Ferrer leads the SharX in scoring with 28 points followed by Matt Clare with 27 and Gersen Dos Santos with 26. Ferrer is ranked 21st in the MISL in scoring, followed by Clare ranked 23 and Dos Santos at 24. Baltimore is led by Mauricio Salles with 53 points followed by Doug Miller with 44.
Rochester (7-9) will also play Baltimore this weekend, kicking off on Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. before traveling to Norfolk on Sunday to take on the SharX at 2 p.m. The Lancers are led by Mauricio Salles who has 53 points and ranks second in the MISL in scoring. Veteran Doug Miller follows with 44.
Oh, and to win cash for your f�=BAtbol kick on Sunday with the SharX, be sure to practice your craziest soccer dance before the game. Fans will be judged by our Cheerleading Director, Kelli Davis, to see who can dance their way onto the pitch at halftime!
