
André Tourigny Announces the 2020-21 Ron-Lapointe Trophy Recipient

Montréal, QC - Former Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Halifax Mooseheads Head Coach André Tourigny unveiled today the 2020-21 Coach of the Year. The Trois-Rivières, Que. native received the distinction in 2005-06 while coaching Rouyn-Noranda.
Tourigny is the acting Head Coach of Team Canada's U20 squad and recently served as Assistant Coach of the Men's National Team that won the Gold Medal at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.
The 2020-2021 Ron-Lapointe Trophy nominees are Steve Hartley (Drummondville Voltigeurs), Jim Hulton (Charlottetown Islanders) and Daniel Renaud (Val-d'Or Foreurs).
