An Open Letter to Ravens Fans

Dear Ravens fans:
On behalf of our players, coaches and team staff, we wanted to take this time out to thank you for being part of the "Ravens Family".
On Friday night, March 28th, we host the Ottawa Rebel in a 7:30 p.m. start at General Motors Place. It's our final regularly scheduled home game of the 2002-2003 National Lacrosse League season and it's bound to be a great showdown given the playoff implications on the line.
It's also FAN NIGHT...an opportunity for all of us associated with the Vancouver Ravens to show our appreciation of the best fans from throughout "LacrosseLand BC". We have a special group offer of 10 tickets for $10 each (available through 604 899-5300). For FAN NIGHT, all fans wearing their black, red and gold Ravens colours in honor of the official Ravens colours of Raven Black, Spirit Red, and Bionda Gold will be able to purchase lower-bowl tickets for just $15.00.
- Our "Real Guys. Unreal Athletes." will give our fans the "Jerseys of our Backs", courtesy of ProJoy and the Vancouver Ravens. Throughout the game, lucky Ravens fans will be selected to win the game-worn jerseys off their favorite NLL players. The jerseys will literally come off the backs of our players after the game;
- One lucky fan will win a 50" television, courtesy of Toshiba and Futureshop. The presentation will take place at halftime (imagine how good NLL lacrosse on Rogers Sportsnet will look on this Toshiba product!);
- "Score for Spaghetti": If your Ravens win, all fans will win a complimentary spaghetti dinner courtesy of our friends at the Old Spaghetti Factory, simply by showing your Ravens ticket stub from this Friday night's game.
In addition, one lucky Ravens Season Ticket Team Member will win a Beachcomber 578 model hot tub, courtesy of Beachcomber Hot Tubs and your Vancouver Ravens. The 578 model hot tub is valued at more than $7,000 and will be a nice summer treat for the winning Ravens fan and their family and friends.
FAN NIGHT will also be something special this year because of the support of the British Columbia Lacrosse Association and the lacrosse community. The BCLA is encouraging all members to VOTE Yes to keeping the Ravens strong -- and in Vancouver -- by purchasing tickets to Friday night's game against the Ottawa Rebel. It's community support that we do not take lightly.
We wanted to make sure all of our Ravens fans knew how much we appreciated this support. All fans attending Friday night's FAN NIGHT game will receive a complimentary "Real Guys. Unreal Athletes." full-colour poster, featuring Ravens forwards Chris Gill and Dan Stroup. It's one small way to thank you and all of our fans for joining the Ravens Family. (Our players, coaches and Ravens FlyGirls will be on hand to sign the posters at our Post-Game Floor Party).

With a made-in-BC lineup and the leadership of Paul Dal Monte and Dave Evans, we're committed to building a franchise that makes all British Columbians proud.
