American Cancer Society Enlist the Newark Bears to Help Battle Cancer

Newark, NJ, October 16th - The American Cancer Society had a little help from the Newark Bears at their Making Strides against Breast Cancer event in Military Park. The Bears staff participated in the walk from Military Park to Broad Street with The American Cancer Society supporters, cancer survivors, and their families. The Newark Bears staff participated in fundraisers and handed out fliers for the Stadium of Screams Halloween event. The walk was a huge success. The Newark Bears was able to participate in a great cause while meeting new people in the Newark Community.
