The Chicago Dogs rolled to an 11-1 victory in game four to tie the North Division Championship Series at 2-2 and forced a game five.

The decisive game will start tomorrow, Thursday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m.

The Dogs took control in the top of the first inning as DH Michael Crouse singled home LF Brennan Metzger (2-for-5) and the 3B T.J. Bennett (2-for-3) hit a grand slam later in the inning to take a 5-0 lead. In the third, CF Anfernee Grier (2-for-3) tripled to score Bennett and then scored when SS Harrison Smith doubled two batters later. RF Danny Mars (3-for-5) added a solo homer in the fourth and 2B Joey Terdoslavich did the same in the fifth. Grier scored later in the fifth on a sac fly from Metzger.

Bennett singled home Mars in the sixth to give the Dogs the 11-0 lead.

The RedHawks' only run came in the bottom of the eighth when 1B Correlle Prime (2-for-4) hit a solo home run. CF Alex Boxwell (2-for-3) added a pair of hits for the RedHawks.

Dogs starting pitcher Christian Friedrich earned the win as he went eight innings and allowed the one run on nine hits while striking out four batters. Reliever Kyle Murphy closed things down in the ninth.

The winner of Thursday's game five will see the Kansas City Monarchs in the American Association Championship Series.
