December 27, 2013 - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL)
St. Louis Ambush News Release

St. Charles, MO - This weekend will be a busy one for the St. Louis Ambush. In the span of just under 22 hours, the Ambush, presented by Simmons First National Bank, will play both visitor and host in a pair of games.

On Saturday, December 28, the Ambush (2-4) pay their first visit to the US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee to duel the Wave (4-1). Saturday's match will be the first of six encounters between the two teams this season. Both teams are looking to get back on a winning track after losing their most recent games. The Ambush were defeated 24-13 by the Missouri Comets last Sunday in Independence. The Wave had last weekend off, but were also defeated by the Comets in their last game, a 15-6 affair on December 13. It was the first loss of the season for the Wave, who are only one half game out of first place in the MISL standings. The first kick is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and fans can watch all the action on Youtube.

As soon as they finish up business in Milwaukee, the Ambush will hurry home to host the Syracuse Silver Knights in a 3:35 p.m. contest Sunday, December 29 at the Family Arena. Sunday's clash will be the second meeting between the Ambush and the Silver Knights this season and will be the Silver Knights' first visit to the Family Arena. The previous game between these two teams was a 10-6 Ambush win on December 13 in Syracuse.

Fans in attendance at Sunday's game will be treated to a mascot game at halftime. Among the mascots scheduled to participate are the Ambush's own Bushwhacker, Fredbird from the St. Louis Cardinals, Rampage from the St. Louis Rams, Louie from the St. Louis Blues, Shiver from the St. Charles Chill, as well as mascots from local colleges and many more. Mascot games have been previously presented by other Major Indoor Soccer League teams. These contests typically feature chaotic fun, surprises and excellent entertainment for the fans.

Saturday night's game in Milwaukee is the final of four consecutive road games for the Ambush. Sunday's game at the Family Arena is the first in a five-game home stand.

Season, group and single game tickets are on sale now for all home games. For more information, visit the team's website, stlouisambush.com (http://stlouisambush.com/) or call the Ambush office at 636-922-2255.
