Amarillo, TX 9/22/11- On Tuesday, Sept. 27, The Amarillo Venom will be attending The World's Largest Ice Cream Social from 5-8 p.m. at Cold Stone Creamery on Georgia benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation(r).
Cold Stone will be offering a free 3-ounce serving of the featured Creation(tm), Sprinkled with Wishes(tm), a delicious Creation with Sweet Cream Ice Cream, moist Brownie, Rainbow Sprinkles and rich Fudge. In exchange, we encourage guests to donate to help make wishes come true. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
"We are looking forward to partnering up with our local Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas Plains," said Owner/General Manager Stephanie Tucker. "The Venom strives to support our local charities and offer help to our community."
Amarillo Venom players will be at the event helping to serve the featured Creation(tm), take pictures, and sign autographs. Striker will also be available for pictures and to mingle with the kids.
This September, nearly 1,100 Cold Stone Creamery(r) locations in the United States will participate in a month-long fundraising effort to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation(r). This will be the 10th year of fundraising, and we've raised more than $4 million to change the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The AMARILLO VENOM is a proud member of the Indoor Football League.
