Boston, MA - Alyssa Gagliardi has signed a contract with the Boston Pride for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Hayley Moore announced Wednesday. Gagliardi and the Pride agreed to terms on a one-year, $14,000 contract.

Gagliardi skated in 17 games for the Pride last season, contributing 6 assists, and played in all four playoff games. She won the 2015 Four Nations Cup Championship with USA Hockey last fall.

"We had an amazing group of players and individuals this past year, and great fan support," Gagliardi said. "We want to grow the game in Boston and continue to represent Boston as a great sports city. I'm excited and honored to build on what we achieved this year, and to be a part of that again and compete for another Isobel Cup."

The Boston Pride finished the inaugural season in first place with a 14-3-1 record. In the first round of the Isobel Cup playoffs, the Pride defeated the New York Riveters on their way to a two game sweep of the Buffalo Beauts to win the championship.

Restricted free agency began April 1 and lasts until April 30. Free agency begins May 1 and lasts until July 31. The 2016 NWHL Draft is June 18.
