Alpena sweeps U-17 to remain in first place

Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers came away with a two game sweep against the U-17 team this past weekend to take sole possession of first place atop the North division standing. On Friday the IceDiggers doubled up Team USA by a score of 4-2. In the final game of the series on Saturday Alpena scored five powerplay goals and cruised to a 6-1 win.
