Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers are playing tonight in exhibition game in Toledo Ohio versus the Toledo Cherokee of the CSHL, fans can listen to the game tonight at www.cherokeehockey.com Mick Gonzales.
The exhibition game will start at 7:00PM, all proceeds will go to a local charity. "We are excited about the chance to play in a game and help out a local charity, this is special for me to come home and help my hometown community and it also gives our guys a chance to play against one of the best teams in the CSHL, their history has proved that and it will be an entertaining game for all the fans of Toledo." said Head Coach Kenny Miller
The Cherokee are coached by former NHL player Iain Duncan who is also a close friend to Alpena coach Miller.
Netminder Justin Marzean (Alpena MI) will get the nod between the pipes for Alpena.
The IceDiggers will travel to Mahoning Valley on Friday for a two game set against the Phantoms Friday and Saturday. Both games start at 7:00PM and can be viewed at www.mvpphantoms.com. Ron Rinaldi will call all the action.
