All-Star Tickets on Sale

February 17, 2012 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) News Release


(Toronto, ON) The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce the launch of ticket sales for it's inaugural All-Star Weekend, presented by Rogers Communications Inc., taking place March 31-April 1 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

All-Star Weekend tickets became available for sale to the general public this morning at 11:00am AST. Lower bowl ticket prices range between $15.00 and $30.00. Both single day tickets and weekend bundles are available. Additional pricing is also available for students and seniors as well as military andEMS personnel.

Lower bowl seats can be purchased through Ticket Atlantic locations at the Halifax Metro Centre or Superstore locations. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketatlantic.ca or by calling toll free at 1-877-451-1221 .

Floor seating is available exclusively through the Halifax Rainmen corporate offices. All seats are subject to availability and certain limitations apply. For information on floor seating, contact the Halifax Rainmen at 902-444-7246 . Floor seats range from $27.50 to $125.00.

All-Star Weekend will consist of exciting, family-friendly events ranging from an All-Star breakfast and youth basketball clinics to a three-point shoot out, slam-dunk contest, legends game, and of course the All-Star game.

The inaugural NBL Canada 2012 All-Star Weekend will showcase talent from all seven franchises, celebrate our athletes, highlight our Canadian talent, and demonstrate our players' abilities to excite fans and make a difference in the community.

Until February 28, fans can vote for their top 20 All-Stars by visiting www.nblcanada.ca. Fan votes will be taken into consideration, as the seven NBL Canada head coaches will make the final selection.
