
Albany Legends Basketball Team To Hold Tryout For Dream Girls Dance Team

Albany, New York - The Albany Legends are gearing up for their first year as a member of the International Basketball League, with games beginning in April at the historic Washington Avenue Armory in Albany. The Legends will hold tryouts on Saturday, January 30, 2010, for those interested in becoming a member of the Legends Dream Girls dance team. At the same time, the team is continuing its strong commitment to the community.
Tryouts will be held at the Gold Gym's in Latham, with registration beginning at 11:30 am, and the auditions to begin at noon.
Along with finding the most energetic and talented dancers the Capital Region has to offer, the dance team will donate $3 from every audition registration fee ($20 fee to audition) to the Center for Disability Services, which provides services and care to more than 15,000 individuals in need in upstate New York. Their 50th annual telethon will be held Saturday, January 31st, 2010 at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road.
