Albany FireWolves Sign 10-Year-Old with Cancer to One-Day Contract

Albany, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) will have a special guest for Game 1 of the NLL Finals presented by AXIA Time this Friday, May 17 at 7 pm. Ten-year-old Oskar Lindberg, who was recently diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, signed a one-day contract to become a member of the FireWolves.
Oskar is in 4th grade and attends Red Mill Elementary School. He plays for Columbia Youth Lacrosse Club and has attended almost every FireWolves game this season. He is looking forward to cheering on his hometown team as they play for the NLL Championship starting with Game 1 on Friday, May 17 at MVP Arena.
The FireWolves are proud to support Oskar through his battle with Ewing sarcoma.
