Akron Cougars Name Marek President

Akron Cougars News Release
The Akron Cougars of the International Basketball League have named Dan Marek President of the organization. Marek was Vice President last year of the Cuyahoga Falls Cougars which are moving to Akron for the 2007 IBL season. Marek will oversee all aspects of organizational management of the Cougars in a full time capacity. Marek, 36, has been involved in the sport and marketing industry for 10 years in various capacities. Basketball operations staff are being put into place at this time and will be named by Marek in the coming weeks.
