
Akeem Ellis, Jarryn Skeete Named Players of the Week

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Akeem Ellis of the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans has been named Player of the Week for the week ending February 2, 2020.
Ellis, a 6'6" small forward from Coppin State, averaged a double-double of 26.0 points and 11.3 rebounds, helping the Titans win two of three games this week.
The National Basketball League of Canada is also pleased to announce that Jarryn Skeete of the Sudbury Five has been named Canadian Player of the Week for the week ending February 2, 2020.
Skeete, a 6'3" guard who played collegiately at the University of Buffalo, averaged 17.0 ppg in two Sudbury games this week, helping the Five remain in the playoff hunt in the NBL's Central Division.
