Legends 62, Riverhawks 48
CANTON, Ohio - Dan Larlham threw six touchdown passes as the Canton Legends jumped out to a 30-7 lead and defeated the Johnstown Riverhawks 62-48 in a rare mid-week contest.
The Legends (3-1) used an interception reception and a blocked field goal recovery by Lavar Glover to build a 14-0 lead on two Doug Schwaberow runs. Randall Knapp caught two Larlham touchdowns in the second quarter as Canton built its lead.
Johnstown's Quenteen Robinson hauled in a pair of 30-yard touchdown receptions sandwiching a 7-yard snag by Canton's Tim Smith as the Legends held a 43-21 lead after three.
Terrence Hudson brought in a pair of touchdowns in the fourth for Johnstown (2-2) and Robinson tossed a 37-yard pass to Trent Jones and then reeled in a 22-yard pass from Haught for Johnstown's offensive production in the fourth.
The Legends countered with a 24-yard grab by Knapp and two touchdown catches by receiver Chris Archie.
