AFL Week 12 Coaches Poll Released

June 23, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL) News Release

TULSA - It is no surprise that Spokane holds the No. 1 spot after receiving 10 first place votes in this week's Coaches Poll. The Shock defeated Tulsa, this week's No. 7, by a score of 63-42. That win and the Jacksonville Sharks' subsequent loss knocked the Sharks out of their top-spot to third. The Shock will battle sixth-ranked Milwaukee in Milwaukee on June 26.

The Arizona Rattlers received four first place votes and jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 after defeating Bossier-Shreveport by a 29 point spread. The final score for the game was 79-50. Arizona is set to play Jacksonville on Saturday. Bossier-Shreveport will take on the No. 5 Tampa Bay Storm Friday on the NFL Network.

No. 4 Chicago claimed victory over Milwaukee, 63-56, which bumped the Rush up one spot. This week, the Chicago Rush will play the Orlando Predators, ranked No. 8, while Utah, Dallas and Cleveland go on the road.
