Los Angeles KISS News Release
Colin Madison was born and raised in Villa Park, Illinois. He attended Willowbrook High School where he was a three-sport varsity athlete in football, track and field, and wrestling. Madison earned All-State and All-Conference awards in all three sports, as well as being named the area's Lineman of the Year in football. After high school, the first year LA KISS player took his talents to Temple University. Madison started 28 games at guard for the Owls, earning First Team All-MAC honors as a senior and Temple's Offensive MVP for his performance as a junior. The offensive lineman got his start in the AFL in 2012 with the Chicago Rush where he started five games as a rookie. The very next season he started 14 games and caught five passes for 64 yards and three touchdowns doubling as a tight end. After two seasons with the Chicago Rush, he earned Second Team All-Arena honors after starting 17 games on the offensive line for the Pittsburgh Power.
Prior to starting his AFL career, Madison spent time on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. In the 2015 season he started 15 games for the ArenaBowl XXVIII Champion San Jose SaberCats. Madison brings veteran experience to the KISS offense and provides added protection for quarterback Nathan Stanley. Last week Madison recorded his first touchdown with the LA KISS (in his second game) on a 10-yard pass from Stanley.
