FRIDAY'S GAMES

ORLANDO 66, Buffalo 23 (Attendance: 15,016): Orlando QB JAY GRUDEN passed for five touchdowns as the Predators (7-4) ended a four-game losing streak by defeating the Destroyers (4-7).

Tampa Bay 45, CAROLINA 38, OT (Attendance: 6,121): Tampa Bay (9-2) quarterback JOHN KALEO completed 25-of-38 passes for 332 yards and one touchdown, while FB/LB ANDRE BOWDEN had four rushing scores for the Storm, including the game-winner in overtime.

Detroit 45, SAN JOSE 42 (Attendance: 11,563): Detroit QB ANDY KELLY threw six touchdown passes as the Fury (6-5) held on to beat San Jose (7-4), snapping the SaberCats' 18-game home win streak.

SATURDAY'S GAME

New York 34, GEORGIA 27 (Attendance: 8,871): New York QB AARON GARCIA threw four touchdown passes and rushed for the final score of the game as the Dragons (4-7) beat the Force (6-5).

SUNDAY'S GAMES

GRAND RAPIDS 69, Las Vegas 21 (Attendance: 7,909): The Grand Rapids Rampage (8-3) used a season-high eight defensive stops to push its win streak to three, defeating the Las Vegas Gladiators (6-5). Grand Rapids QB CLINT DOLEZEL completed 18-of-22 for 190 yards and five touchdowns, earning game MVP honors.

Arizona 82, LOS ANGELES 76, OT (Attendance: 12,352): On a fourth-and-one play, Arizona WR/LB HUNKIE COOPER ran 24 yards for the game-winning touchdown with 1:36 left in overtime, lifting the Rattlers (6-5) to the victory over the Avengers (8-3). Cooper's touchdown was the 23rd of the game, setting a new all-time AFL mark for combined touchdowns in a single-game.

INDIANA 61, Dallas 57 (Attendance: 10,956): With less than 10 seconds remaining in the game, Indiana QB RAYMOND PHILYAW hooked up with WR/LB EDDIE BROWN for a 30-yard game-winning touchdown over Dallas (6-5). It was the second victory for the Firebirds(5-7) over the Desperados in three weeks.

Chicago 76, COLORADO 58 (Attendance: 17,417): Chicago OS ANTONIO CHATMAN returned the second-half opening kickoff 52-yards for a touchdown and moments later following a defensive stop, hauled in a 21-yard reception to lead the Rush (5-6) to victory against the expansion Crush (1-10) Sunday at Pepsi Center.
