Aeros maintain top spot in Power Rankings

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings for the period ending Saturday, December 30th - and once again, the Arkansas Aeros maintained the #1 position with their 16-2 record followed closely by the Vermont Frost Heaves that moved from #4 to #2 and the Bellingham Slam that moved from #5 to #3. The defending champion Rochester RazorSharks jumped to #8 while Buffalo joined the Power Rankings at #19. "The Power Rankings are important for a lot of reasons with playoff and All-Star team implications," said Brad Hester, ABA VP of Team Operations. "This is serious stuff and I get calls and emails every week from teams who believe their position should be improved. There will be a lot of changes before season's end because there are a lot of great teams in this league." The Power Rankings:
