American Defenders of New Hampshire News Release
(NASHUA, NH, March 26, 2007) The Nashua Pride is looking for local host families for the 2007 season.
This is your opportunity to make an impact in someone's life. Every new baseball season, the Nashua Pride relies on the generosity of local families to help us house some of our players by serving as Pride Host Families. These families serve an important role by providing a home away from home environment for the ballplayers during the season.
Each host family will receive four season tickets (good for every Pride home game), inside access to the Pride and - most of all - a lasting friendship. Most host families and players maintain close contact for years. One of our host families found themselves in a photo included in a feature story on the Pride that was published in the August 18, 2003 edition of ESPN The Magazine!
The Pride plays 52 home games this year with players arriving on May 12, for spring training and stay in Nashua through the end of the season in early September. For more details on how you can become a host family, please contact Bev Taylor at 603-816-1960 or by e-mail at bev@nashuapride.com.
The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its tenth anniversary season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The Pride is participating in its second year of play in the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball. Only season ticket holders are guaranteed seats for the club's home opener, to be held Thursday, May 24 versus the North Shore Spirit, at Historic Holman Stadium.
