Hear Ye, Hear Ye: The Admirals will hold a town hall meeting at Scope in Meeting Room 4 this evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Open to the public, the meeting will be a forum for individuals to ask questions about the hockey team of a panel consisting of team owners, Mark Garcea and Page Johnson, Director of Operations Todd McKeating, General Manager Al MacIsaac and the Director of Civic Facilities for the city of Norfolk, John Rhamstine.

Norfolk Admirals 2nd Annual Youth Hockey Camp: June 24-28 at IceSports Chesapeake. Admirals' General Manager Al MacIsaac will be offering instruction to area hockey players with assistance from Head Coach Trent Yawney and IceSports Chesapeake Director of Hockey Programs Chad Ackerman. Camp will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily. All registration will be done through IceSports Chesapeake. PLAYER SIGNINGS

Snap, Crackle, Poapst: On June 18 the Chicago Blackhawks re-signed defenseman and former Admiral, Steve Poapst. He played his first full season in the NHL last year and set personal career highs with 56 games played, seven assists, eight points (one goal), a plus-6 rating and 30 penalty minutes.

They're Baaack: The Admirals have re-signed defenseman Jeff Helperl and signed forward Quintin Laing to AHL standard players' contracts.

IN THE COMMUNITY

13th Annual SunCom Bayou Boogaloo and Cajun Fest: June 21-23 at Town Point Park in downtown Norfolk. Mascots Salty and Hat Trick will appear on June 22 and 23 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Famous Uncle Al's 2nd Annual Golf Classic: June 24 at the Bay Creek Golf Course in Cape Charles, Virginia. The Admirals are supporters and participants in this golf tournament to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

ESPN Radio 1310 AM Summer Skate: June 29 at IceSports Chesapeake. The Admirals will have an exhibit table set up at this special ‘Summer Skate' beginning at 6:00 p.m.

SEASON TICKETS

Important Dates to Remember: Anyone who purchased a 10- or 20-Game Ticket Package this past season has until Friday, August 23 to renew those same seats for 2002-2003 by placing a $50 deposit per seat before they are made available to the general public for sale.

Season Ticket accounts must be paid in full no later than Friday, August 30.

Partial Ticket Packages must be paid in full no later than Monday, September 16.
