Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI- Admiral's president Jon Greenberg announced today that the Admirals will sport a new black road jersey for the 2010-11 season. The new apparel will replace the former gray road sweaters which have been worn away from the Bradley Center since the 2006-07 season.
The new jersey features the traditional Admirals colors (white, black, and ice blue) with black being the most prominent. Just like the home white jerseys, an Admiral skull adorns the chest, while blue accents run down the sides and also on the sleeves. The name and numbers on the backs of the jersey are white with a blue outline.
"We are excited to unveil this new look for Admirals hockey for the 2010-11 season," said Greenberg. "The new black jerseys represent the toughness and 'Never Say Die' attitude by which our team plays and we look forward to playing in them for our 10th season in the American Hockey League."
Milwaukee will don the new sweaters for every road game except when they wear their alternate blue jerseys, which were introduced for the 2008-09 season. The Admirals sport their alternate jersey 20 times per year, wearing them ten times each at home and on the road. The team will also sport the black jerseys on occasion at home.
The Admirals kick off the home portion of the 2010-11 campaign on Saturday, October 9 and season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now for as little as $145.
