Congratulations are in order for Wildcats' forward Brett Hartung and goaltender Mike Jarboe. Hartung was just named the Sherwood/NAHL South Division Player of the Week, while Jarboe was named the GDI/NAHL Goalie of the Week. Forward Chad Hudson was also given an Honorable Mention for the Sherwood/NAHL South Division Player of the Week.

Sherwood/NAHL South Player of the Week
Wichita Falls forward Brett Hartung connected for a hat trick, including the game-winning goal, and two assists as the Wildcats skated to a 6-1 victory over Wenatchee on Friday. The 20-year-old from Tallahassee, Fla., who was held scoreless the next night (a 4-3 win over the Wild), was a plus-4 on the weekend.
"Brett has a very accurate and hard shot and he's scored some very key goals for us," said Wildcats head coach John Bowkus. "He continues to work on the little things that are making him a very good offensive player."

GDI/NAHL Goalie of the Week
Wichita Falls goaltender Mike Jarboe backstopped the Wildcats to a two-game sweep over Wenatchee, turning aside 54 of 58 shots. On Friday, the Grosse Point Park, Mich., native made 26 saves in a 6-1 victory. The next night, the 20-year-old stopped 28 shots in regulation and overtime and seven in the shootout as the Wildcats downed the Wild, 4-3.
"Mike played extremely well last weekend," said Wildcats head coach John Bowkus. "As a coach, you can only hope that he'll win some games for the team and last weekend he did just that."
