Fort Lauderdale CF players George Acosta and Mitch Curry were named to the USL League One Team of the Week presented by Cleer Audio for Week 21 of the 2021 season. The pair shined as Fort Lauderdale claimed a 2-4 victory over South Georgia Tormenta FC.
M - George Acosta: Acosta scored a pair of goals eight minutes apart in the first half of Fort Lauderdale's 4-2 away win over South Georgia Tormenta FC, and created two chances as FTLCF moved up to third in the League One standings.
F - Mitch Curry: Curry was a creative force for Fort Lauderdale, registering two assists as part of five total chances created against Tormenta.
