
Acadiana Cane Cutters Host LARC Night

Lafayette, LA: Officials from LARC have announced today that the Acadiana Cane Cutters will donate 30% of advance ticket sales to LARC for the baseball game scheduled on Wednesday, July 16 at 7 p.m. at Fabacher Field in Youngsville, LA. A silent auction and Mardi Gras beads collection drive will be conducted that evening to assist LARC. Aaron Rhodes, a LARC client, will be throwing out the first pitch.
"We are very appreciative of the Acadiana Cane Cutters for hosting a LARC night for us and hope that the public will show their support by purchasing tickets in advance to the game on July 16. Our clients and staff are looking forward to the ballgame," said Glenn Weber, Executive Director for LARC.
The Acadiana Cane Cutters (ACC) are collegiate wooden bat team and a member of the Texas Collegiate League. Their NCAA players are currently on a college roster and represent the region's best amateur talent. The ACC are one of six member teams in the Texas Collegiate League. The league was established in 2003, featuring clubs in both Texas and Louisiana, and allows college players with remaining eligibility to showcase their skills in a wholesome, minor league-type atmosphere.
