Abilene Bombers Land Huge 2013 Commitment And League Leading Receiver

Abilene Bombers News Release


Head Coach, Joe Brannen is pleased to announce that the Abilene Bombers have agreed on a deal to bring 6'5" 250 pound, indoor veteran wide receiver Nathaniel Dunn to Abilene for the 2013 season. Dunn has been a force in the last few years in the arena game and he will give the Bombers a big body receiver for next year.

In 2012, he recorded 7 Touchdown grabs in only 4 games after his season was cut short due to an injury. He is now healthy and excited to get to Abilene for the 2013 season. Said Dunn, "wanting to win a championship is the reason I chose to come to Abilene. After talking with coach Brannen over the last few weeks, having the opportunity to listen to his plans for the season and the goals that he has in place for the team, I just couldn't say no. My expectations for the season start with the desire to win a championship for our team and city! I have set my goals high and will do whatever is needed as a team player to make sure we reach this goal."

Coach Brannen had this to say, "Adding Nathaniel to our roster for the season is a big step in the direction we are looking to go as an organization. He has continuously been a top receiver in each league he has played in throughout his career. He has that rare combination of great physical size and speed. He catches the ball well and is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. He plays very fast and can get on the toes of the defensive back in a hurry, and has the size at 6'5" 250 to out jump and out body any defensive back for the football. He is such an athlete that we can flip him over to the defensive side of the football and play him at jack linebacker if needed. I am excited to have him on board and look for big things out of him this season. It will be a pleasure this year to game plan with him on our team instead of trying to figure out how to stop him."
