ABALiveTalk to feature team community programs
June 30, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Los Angeles, CA. Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced that this week's show will focus on ABA teams' community programs. "The direction and success of the ABA will be positively impacted by the off the floor activities of its teams and players," said Pearson. "And many of the teams seem to have great summertime programs in effect that are reaching kids throughout the nation." The one hour weekly program can be heard at www.abalive.com at 3pm est.
This week's show will once again focus on fan emails from ABA fans and supporters, plus a roundup of tryout camps, player signings and promotional plans for ABA teams. The weekly "Ask the CEO" segment will include emails from ABA CEO Joe Newman. To email Joe, send to joenewman@abalive.com or to email the show, use abalivetalk@aol.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
