ABA University completes week one

St. Louis, MO. Over forty applications were received from applicants from all over the world with dreams of being accepted in the first ABA University. Twenty-four showed up during the week of June 5th for admission tryout; only twelve - ten men, two women 0 were admitted.

As the players enter into the facility with their game faces on, they soon found out that the ABA University was not going to be a picnic in the park. Instead, it was described as the park right outside the gates of Basketball Hell.

One thing is for sure, all that were accepted into the program can appreciate the intense, two hours, five days a week workout. There's no doubt about it. Each player will be in shape by the time basketball season arrives. "I have never been in a basketball camp with the workout of this extreme magnitude. From my understanding, this is just the beginning. I will be ready to play pro basketball this year," said Devon Moss, a 6'7" small forward participating in the ABAU.

"We have players from all walks of life, all with different reasons and different goals for attending the ABA University," explained Earl Childress, Dean of the ABA University - St. Louis Campus. "The American Basketball Association University is for individuals who are serious about competing on the level of pro basketball." For more information, call 314 921 8600 or visit www.abalive.com.
