ABA sponsor and team owner playing at Rucker Park

Baltimore, MD. Melvin Coles, co-owner of several ABA expansion teams and the CEO of Electrolite 02, the official water of the ABA, has entered a team in the famed Entertainers Basketball Classic (EBC) at Rucker Park in New York. If you have been watching streetball for the past 25 years, you are familiar with this event which is televised by NBA TV, ESPN and BET. The Lite 02 team consists of a group of Baltimore ABA players combined with NBA players including Gilbert Arenas, Steve Francis and Jerome Williams. According to Coles, "We will be very competitive and we will have a lot of fun."

In addition Coles announced that his company will be the co-sponsor along with Weekend Vibe and Bounce Magazine for a party being hosted by Concept Sports at the Fashion Forty Lounge in New York City celebrating the NBA Draft of North Carolina Tar Heels own Rashad McCants, Wake Forest Guard Chris Paul and Jarrett Jack of Georgia Tech. "We'd love to have these guys on our ABA teams," said Coles. "For now, we hope they enjoy our water as they wait to be selected."
