
ABA Players of the Week named
December 31, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced that Lincoln Glass of the Indiana Alley Cats, Fred Vinson of the Aoshen Olympians were named the ABA Players of the Week. The awards were announced on ABALIVETALK, the weekly talk show for the American Basketball Association.
Glass averaged 23 points a game in two Indiana wins over previously unbeated Lincoln, including one game with 13 assists, while Vinson was spectacular in two games versus Tacoma.
Previous winners include William Funn of the Gallup Talons, Chris Carrawell of the Rochester Razorsharks, Armon Gilliam of the Pittsburgh Xplosion, Kenny Brunner of the SoCal Legends, Chandler Thompson of the Indiana Alley Cats, Caleb Gervin of Bellingham, Charles Jones of Strong Island, Tim Hardaway of Florida and Tim Ellis of Bellevue.
