ABA names Vice President of Investor Relations

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today named Demetrius Ford as Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Finance. Mr. Ford has spent over eleven years in investment banking and private equities with experience as Chairman, President and CEO, Compliance Officer and Managing Principal. Before joining the ABA's corporate management team, Mr. Ford was Founder, President and CEO of M2M Capital Corporation, an investment banking and business advisory firm focused on serving the corporate finance needs of minority and women-owned enterprises. Prior to M2M, he was Co-Founder, President and CEO of netREACH Capital Group, Inc., a South Florida online trading and investment banking firm and also served as a Managing Principal of Morgenthau & Associates, a Baltimore-based investment banking firm where he assisted in the establishment and funding of the firm's three mezzanine financing partnerships.

Mr. Ford has extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, private equities, mergers and acquisitions and interactive investor relations for both public and private companies. He served in the US military from 1984 to 1988 (USN), and from 1990 to 1993 (USMC), attended the Marine Corps Institute, Washington, DC, and graduated the Non-Commissioned Officer program in 1992. He earned his BA in Business Management at Barrington University.
