ABA names All-ABA teams

Published on April 20, 2007 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today named its All-ABA Teams. According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "While these fifteen players were named and are certainly most deserving of the recognition, there were 30-40 other outstanding players that could well have made the teams. The quality of play in the ABA is exceptional; we are very proud of our players and want to congratulation all of them."

The team was put together with the help of Chris Terrell, Head Coach of the Texas Tycoons, who also runs a scouting and marketing service and works with NBA scouts on evaluating players. Chris is a contributing writer for the Eurobasket Network and helps cover the ABA. The team was based on stats, tapes, All-Star appearances as well as how their teams fared in the playoffs.
